Group Announcements NO JANUARY SOCCER CLUB MEETINGWe will not have a January Soccer Club meeting. Our next meeting will be Sunday, February12th in the Horace Mann Commons.
SOCCER TEAMS RECIEVE NATIONAL AWARDHorace Mann was one of only 60 schools nationally to have both the boys and girls soccer teams maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25 for the entire academic year. As a result, the National Soccer Coaches of America (NSCAA) has honored them with it's 2011 NSCAA High School Team Academic Award. The boy's team had a GPA of 3.40 while the girl's team maintained a GPA of 3.47 to qualify for the double honor. Congratulations go to both teams on their hard work on and off the field!
Congratulations Conference winnersCongratulations to our boys team members who received conference awards. First team - defense honors to Jacob Giese. Second team - forward honors to Ben Mand. Honorable Mention awards went to Dan Thomas - goalie and to Jeff Klein and Cameron Schmidt - midfielders.
